Young Eco Heroes: Bringing RCP to Schools

Learning Together to Become Europe's Young Eco Heroes !

An exciting opportunity for young learners to explore sustainability, develop future-ready skills, and connect with peers across Europe. Working in small groups, they will create and present a project on Responsible Consumption and Production (RCP), showcasing what they have learnt about protecting the environment.

Along the way, they will build vital skills such as teamwork, problem-solving, and public speaking. Learners will also be encouraged to adopt at least one eco-friendly habit in their daily lives — such as recycling, composting, or upcycling — with a follow-up to reflect on their progress.

This creative and engaging project is voluntary (not part of the regular curriculum), and learners will be supported by their teachers throughout the process.

As part of the EURECA-PRO network, young participants will also have the chance to collaborate with peers from other countries and learn how the European Union supports sustainability. Participating schools from Greece, Germany, and Poland will host learners who are curious, enjoy teamwork, and have an intermediate level of English.

Interested pupils can sign up on Moodle with the help of their teacher. Each school is responsible for coordinating its own selection process.
