20 EURECA-PRO Delegates Gather at TUC for a BIP Training on "Intercultural Upskilling" | 15-19 June 2026

A total of 20 delegates from all partner institutions of the European University alliance EURECA-PRO gather this week (15-19 June 2026) in Chania, Greece at the Campus of the Technical University of Crete (TUC) to participate in the onsite component of the Blended Intensive Program (BIP) for staff training, entitled "Intercultural Upskilling". This program is part of and is being supported and funded by the Erasmus+ KA131 2024 Project. 

Participants have already joined five online sessions (90 minutes each) in the past months, since January 2026. This week is the concluding in-person Staff Week with a full training program, including lectures, workshops, cultural activities, and networking opportunities, taking place on TUC Campus and the broader area of Chania. 

The expected outcomes of the program are the following:

  • Creation of lasting cross-institutional peer networks.
  • Improved intercultural awareness and communication skills.
  • Strengthened sense of belonging within the EURECA-PRO community.
  • Planning of further capacity building activities.
